As much of a pain (and some might say "waste") a big lawn can be, I love that my rascals have ample room to romp. Besides, ours is more like a clover field than a lush lawn.
That really looks like suuuch a lovely place to play! we love our big lawn, even though us rascals are all much bigger now- is that another house behind the tree? I've never noticed it in your pictures before, I always assumed you were on your own in your little plot, it looks so pretty!
Madsta, yes! Those are our lovely neighbors. They've lived there for 18 years. We actually live in the city, in a regular neighborhood. Our lot is only an acre with neighbors on either side.

I feel the same way even though I haven't got a really big lawn area. When planning the garden I had to accomodate the kids.
